To begin to safely reopen our in-person services, we are temporarily offering small group learning pods to supplement distance learning or offer homeschooling support. Girls will engage in hands-on, math and logic activities through group collaboration.
How It Works:
Organize a group of 4 to 6 girls.
Find a location that works for your group (outdoors preferred).
All classes will meet in person and must adhere to COVID safety guidelines.
Decide on a class time that works for your group with 1 or 2 flexible options.
Schedule your group using the link below and one of our instructors will contact you to arrange your sessions.
At this time, we can only serve North Portland, NE Portland, SE Portland and Sellwood locations.
Scaled enrollment and scholarships are available for those that qualify. Request financial assistance here. Applications must be received 10 days prior to the start of your pod.
Girls Count instructors will work with girls in the same grade (grades 4th through 8th) to provide hands-on, project-based activities. Group collaboration and discussions are key elements of our program. All activities promote active problem-solving and reasoning, which are keys skills for the modern world.
